The Rosary Ministry Group at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish was created in 2007 out of the A.C.T.S. Retreat Ministry. Both women and men with a
personal devotion to the Rosary were called to establish a home Rosary Group. The goal was to provide an opportunity to share the Adoration and
Service pillars of the A.C.T.S. ministry. A personal statue of Our Lady of Guadalupe was gifted to the group by a member of the Ministry.
An altar was built to house the Virgincita by a family member of another group member. Parish leadership approached the group to assist in funeral
rosaries to help the individuals performing rosaries at funeral homes.
OLG Home Rosary Ministry: The Home Rosary Group leads rosaries in the home of a host family once a month, usually on the 13th of the month in
honor of the day Our Lady of Fatima appeared to three children in Fatima, Portugal. Our visiting Virgincita remains in the home of the Host family
for a month. The visiting Virgincita has been hosted by families continuously since 2007. Many members of the Home Rosary Group have also
been committed to the group since the founding of the Ministry. The rosary is led by the Home Rosary Group leader. The Host family invites
family and friends to attend the home rosary. Group members and family rotate leading the prayers. There is no mininum number of home rosaries
Home Rosary Group members are required to attend. We are inviting individuals to join the group and to help support home rosaries. We are also
inviting individuals and families to host home rosaries. The Home Rosary Group has hosted rosaries in the homes of hosts every 13th of the month for
fifteen years.
Serenity Funeral Rosary Ministry: The group leads English and biligual rosaries at Funeral Homes, providing prayer for the deceased and support
to the family of the deceased in their time of loss. The group leads rosaries several times a month and on any given day of the week.
Members rotate leading the rosary and praying the mysteries and decades based on the member's attending the funeral. There is no payment requested
of the family of the deceased when the Ministry leads the rosary. There is no minimum number of rosaries that the members are required to attend.
We are iniviting individuals to join the group so that we can ensure we can serve all the families who request a funeral rosary for a loved one.
The Serenity Funeral Rosary Ministry was invited to support this service and has lead hundreds of rosaries for familes in need.

We meet every second Sunday of the Month. Our society started on or about 1956. We wear Our Lady of Mt. Carmel
Scapulars/Vests and enter Mass with Our Parish Priest, carrying Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Stand and sit together in the front pews of the Church. Each
member donates money for our Trust Fund each month. We discuss the 3 breakfast we will have a year to help the Church. We help by donating
money for the Franciscans Seminary from our Society Trust Fund. We celebrate Mass on every July 16, Our Lady of St. Carmel
day and, that day we initiate new members to our Society. Have a small brunch after Mass and each member brings some food to share with
the Community who attends Mass on that day.
The scapular becomes a symbol of our consecration to Mary.

The Brown Scapular: The scapular is essentially a "habit". Those who are enrolled by the Church are associated in varying degrees with the
Carmelite Order which is dedicated to the service of Our Lady for the good of the whole Church.
Sabbatine Privilege: St. Simon Stock was also given Mary's promise of final perserverance and the Sabbatine privilege to those who die wearing
the Brown Scapular. Simply put, the intercession of our Lady to take the soul of the scapular wearer to heaven on the first Saturday after his death.
- Sagrado Corazon - Service organization which organizes community rosaries on the last Friday of every month.
We adore Jesus Christ even in his human nature, because this human nature belongs to the Second Person of the Holy Trinity, the Eternal Word of God.
One of the ways in which we adore Christ In his human nature consists of devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The Heart of Jesus is a symbol of
the humanity and infinite love of Christ and his mercy with sinners. The first Friday of each month has been designated especially for the devotion
to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The church recommends that everyone receive Holy Communion on those Fridays. Our Lord promised that those who
receive Communion on the first nine consecutive Fridays will not die without receiving the necessary aid for their salvation. The devotion to the
Sacred Heart of Jesus is one of the best means to increase and strengthen our love for Jesus Christ. The feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus is
celebrated on the Friday following the second Sunday after Pentecost.
Meetings: 1st Sunday of each Month. Beginning with Mass at 7:45am followed by meeting in room 2.
